1. What Gets Deleted
When your deletion request is approved and processed, the following data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our active databases:
- Shop profile and business settings
- All user accounts linked to the shop
- Customers and their credit ledgers
- Loans and repayment records
- Sales, payment and expense transactions
- Cheques and cheque reminders
- Payment reminders and notification history
Warning: deletion is permanent. Export any ledgers or reports you need before submitting a request — deleted data cannot be recovered.
2. Option A — Delete Inside the App (Fastest)
If you still have access to the LedgerLK app on your phone:
- 1Open LedgerLK and log in to your shop account.
- 2Go to Settings (gear icon).
- 3Tap “Delete Account” at the bottom of the screen.
- 4Confirm the warning dialog — your account is queued for deletion immediately.

Prefer email? Send a message from your registered email address (or include your registered phone number) to:
Subject: Delete my LedgerLK account
Include your shop name and registered phone number so we can verify ownership.
5. How Long It Takes
- Verification: we confirm you own the account (via SMS or email) within 2 business days.
- Deletion: all data listed above is permanently deleted within 7 days of verification.
- Confirmation: you receive a final confirmation by SMS or email once deletion is complete.
Anonymized, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you or your business (e.g. total transaction counts) may be retained for analytics. This data can never be linked back to you.
